I just love this movie. Arnie as Harry super spy in his prime and Jaime has Helen, Harry's wife is just gorgeous.
It's so over the top which is what makes it so good and can't help but love it.
Particularly hilarious was Simon (Bill Paxton) playing a pretend spy to seduce Helen.
Harry: What can I say? I'm a spy.

i've a few times managed to forget between viewings just how funny it is. something Cameron had only dealt with in sprinkles before this.

I love it as well, but I'd say that even better than Paxton--who was great--was Tom Arnold. Every time he shows up, he steals the scenes from Arnold.

Jamie's stripper scene was pretty HOT when I saw it in the theater.
Yep. I love the chase scenes with the horse.
Definitely. Also, Tia's funny with her "Suzie Homemaker" line and Arnie isn't bad in a comedic capacity himself.

"Have you ever killed anyone?"
"Yeah, but they were all bad."

The first half of this is exceptional (barring the swimming pool escape) and, with the comedy and perfect pacing is arguably on track to be the best western action film ever. The second half is bloated, loses much of the humour and becomes a bit obsessed by flashy, OTT set pieces. I struggle to think of a film where I've had such different levels of enjoyment between the first and second hour.

Yeah, I liked the humor and silliness of it. I forgot all about the horse chase scene. I just watched it the other day again, and amazingly was laughing out loud at some of the wackier moments and quotes.

This is a great movie. It kept my attention the whole movie. It never drifted off. Well edited.
