So after nearly 10 years of waiting we are finally gonna get to see the sequel.

I saw this movie on 04-10-18, and I did not know at the time I was watching a sequel. The next day after watching it; I described it to someone I was talking to and she asked if it was a sequel...that totally blew me away; I had no idea! In any case; I now view (think of) this movie like it was a 2nd in the series of the Friday the 13th franchise. To me it was about as much fun, and it did in fact take me back to those moments when I first watched many of those classics for the first time such as Halloween, Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street.

LOVE this movie, moreso then the first. It feels like a movie made in the 80s, the way it was filmed, the soundtrack. I saw it back in October on Prime and what a fun Halloween-time movie it was!
I noticed your either a fan of the first & dislike the 2nd and vice versa. Both movies are differently directed/paced.
