Discuss The Bleeding Edge

... but when they went from the factual hard evidence with the cobalt hip replacements, to an in depth personal interview with a person and her alternative treatments with cervical spine extension for headaches... I lost it!

I have a science education, and with my experience, I can't recommend this docu.

The problem with docu like this is the overwhelming emotional "porn", that is used to capture viewers. If the science is lost in this, the credibility goes down. Simple as that.

I get that there are personality differences and all, but isn't the Essure issue basically the same thing? If I recall the headaches, tremors and other things (they believed) were being caused by the devices fragmenting upon removal? Just wondering as I probably don't have your experience. I can tell you this: the docu verified my reluctance to take any modern "miracle" cures, especially in regards to surgery/implants. It seems our bodies work pretty well as they are! :)
