Discuss Force of Nature

The guy doesn't make many movies anymore and the ones he does it would seem he or his agent has at least read the script and given it some serious thought before giving it the old A-OKAY. Not so much the case with "Force of nature". This piece of crap reminds me of those movies Steven Seagal started churning out in the 2000's. You know, the kind where he is prominently featured in the cover and then you see the movie and he is mostly shown sitting around a desk for a couple of minutes and the rest of the movie is filled with some has beens or neven beens. Well, it's the same thing here. Mel is in the movie for a few minutes and is mostly shown in a sedentary state. Not sure why he would he choose to accept to be a part in a turd like this....is he going through a divorce or something and needs the money?

Mel Gibson has more money than god. If what you're saying is true, he probably got paid $10 Million for a few days of work and I don't think anyone would turn that down. Either that, or he did the film as a favor to someone. IMDb lists over 30 producer's for this title.

The bigger question: Why is Michael Polish still directing movies?

I don't know maybe some court forced him to do the movie as community service for his past....uhh...racial transgressions. It wouldn't surprise me since the movie so utterly hamfistedly tries to force the topic into the movie. No kidding the movie suddenly cuts from cops shooting bad guys in the rain BANG BANG to some guy sitting in his apartment wounded talking about how the police profile him for his race with the subtlety of a jackhammer.

Ahhh, ok, yeah, maybe. Ugh.
