Discuss Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

Compared to the first, which I thoroughly enjoyed, this is a lot weaker. The actors don't seem to have any chemistry, the 'villain' is not fit for the role and neither is the anti-villain. Craig does a good job of lightening up the dialogue (which is chaotic and often serves no point). How did you feel?

Batista is a non-actor, come on why even put him in??

The first movie was just a decent and forgettable entertainment, nothing was great about it. And Glass Onion is even worse than the first, for sure. It's very hard for me to understand how Rian Johnson was able to peak only at the start with such great movie as Brick, and after that he just keeps releasing garbage. Very strange. Anyway, the only thing I took away from that movie is that Rian Johnson has something against sweaters, as he keeps putting them on his villains.

I hear that. The first one was vastly overrated and it was a mediocre a dime a dozen murder mystery with a rather weak ending. Not that the beginning or middle parts were much better. This one......well it's not any better that's for sure. Should have called it "Crap onion" to keep it honest. It's Netflix and the 2020's so you have your stock standard ethnically diverse cast to tick all those boxes not to mention Craig's ham fisted gay relationship etc. Also what's the deal with the masks anyways? They show the cast members wearing them haphazardly for a few minutes and abandon them shortly after they get magic inhalable inoculation(?). What was the point of all that? It kind of seemed like a movie version of that Simpsons Ralph meme "I'm helping". If the director is so desperate to give Noah Segan (the random hobo) a job have him clean the toilets on the set or something and stop wasting the viewers time with this nonsense.

This movie is gross, ridiculous and 1 hour too long 'and I will add too expensive for the result)...
