Discuss Harry: The Troubled Prince

I ordered Spare from the library, before all the media attention, I was really excited to read it, but due to all the bashing Harry makes in the book, I am lukewarm. I feel bad for Harry for all the heartache he has endured, but still feel he is wrong to bash his family in a public arena, especially considering his dad is the only elder he has left.

Furthermore, he and Will need to forgive Camilla. Their mom died over 25 years ago, and his dad has been married for nearly two decades. Time for an olive branch. Did anyone watch the Netflix series? I listened to Meghan's podcasts on YouTube, the subject matters were OK, but they were a bit dry at times too. I read Finding Freedom, it was OK.

It disgusts me that, with all his privilege, entitlement, and immense wealth that all his life Harry has enjoyed and benefited by thanks to "The Institution" - him being born into it, and having always known full well there are time-honoured rules and ways of it - that he's now thrown his family under the bus all thanks to his opportunistic wife who didn't seem to mind marrying into all that, despite that she surely knew what she would be getting herself in to.

I no longer respect either one of them, Harry or Meghan, a bit.

Who is Shallon Lester. I have lost respect for the couple as well.

I agree that Meghan knew there was protocol and traditions you have to follow. I heard that Harry wanted to cancel the deal, but for some reason changed his mind. I wonder what happened? Maybe he did not want to face a lawsuit. He could have delayed publication for editing, that would have been a viable option. Now there are rumors they might not be invited to the coronation, or just be invited as guests.

On the other hand, why didn't any of the royals visit them in CA., after COVID restrictions were lifted? I know Eugenie did once, but one family member does not count. Not saying they did not call, e-mail, or ZOOM. LOL, another interracial royal marriage is on the horizon. That of Norway's Princess Mary Louise and Shaman Durek. They also sought refuge in the States, due to racist media attacks aimed at him. She is also a"spare". In addition, they are both very new age claiming they are into the supernatural. Here we go again!

I agree with others, they have a right to feel bitterness and hurt, but they got their wish for freedom by living in California. Harry is acting very foolish right now. He better make peace with his dad before he loses him. Charles's death could cause him mire mental anguish if there is still bitterness.
