I'm old school, so I like the old Wolf Man with Lon Chaney Jr. But the beginning of Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man has the best scene, where the grave robbers break into Talbot's grave, exposing him to the moonlight. Very creepy.

Underworld has been recommended to me, I must get around to working through that franchise.
Of all the vampire-werewolf franchises of the 00s-10s I think Underworld stands out so you should give it a shot. It's not just flashy eye candy (although there's loads of that) but there are some clever plot twists & surprises, striking characters, and if you watch it til the final chapter you realize Selene goes through an interesting character arc, from warrior/survivor to war-weary/suicidal by the end. Unlike a lot of moneymaking franchises where the writers sleepwalk through the last few, this one stays consistent.
Of course the greatest vampire-werewolf battle in cinema history happens in What We Do in the Shadows 😉
Vampires vs Werewolves
P.S. Although An American Werewolf in London holds the #1 spot on my list (for its awesome 80s blend of horror & dark comedy, like Lost Boys and Vamp), I thought the 2007 film Blood & Chocolate was pretty cool, filmed in Romania with a lot of stylish settings and an artistic European vibe if that's your thing.
