A model, an actress, a columnist, a screenwriter, a director and last but not least a mother. She is also Meggie in the 1983 forbidden love TV miniseries "The Thorn Birds".

I didn't realize she was (is?) also a columnist, screenwriter, and director. She's certainly got a well-rounded range of talents! I remember years ago reading she's of a wealthy, titled old British family.
She must be a well-grounded person, considering she's still married to the same man (Bryan Brown) since 1983.
Yes: She was wonderful and ideal in The Thorn Birds!
