It’s been a few months of relative peace, but all that’s about to change when Sunny Barnes and her family set up Sunny Day Excursions just outside of town. Cassie is called in to investigate a missing backpacker. Beau and Jenny track a murderer.

Jenny and Beau investigate the bloody murder of a woman in her own backyard that turns into quite the family affair. Back at the Sunny Day Excursions, Buck grows increasingly suspicious of Sunny while Avery and Emily continue to question the disappearance of the missing camper. Cassie and Cormac discover something unimaginable out on the trail. Tonya and Donno accept a deadly proposition.

When shocking new evidence surfaces from the “Bleeding Heart Murder Case,” Jenny and Beau team up with Cassie and achieve a major breakthrough. Buck struggles with his moral ambiguity, and cracks begin to form in his and Sunny’s marriage.

The investigation for the killer continues as Jenny and Beau confine the campers to the campsite in an effort to unravel their lies. Cassie and Cormac’s romance heats up, leading Cormac to confess his parents might not be as innocent as they want others to believe.
