Michael Saunders built an extension onto his house when his son- in-law's MS meant he had to start using a wheelchair. When Michael discovered he had cancer, he was unable to finish his own home and he and his partner were left living in a cold and draughty shell of a house. Battling against terrible weather conditions, Nick and the team head to West Wales to rally friends, family and local trades to help turn Michael's house from a building site into a comfortable home.

Sixteen-year-old Kieron Purvis collapsed with an undiagnosed heart condition in December 2009. Following a heart transplant and a double amputation, the Purvis family found themselves living apart because their home was not equipped for Kieron's special needs. Nick and the SOS team issue a call to arms and rally friends, family and local trades to get the Purvis' home fit for them to live under the same roof after a year apart.

Nick and the team head to the Midlands to rally friends, family and local trades to help turn the Spice family's derelict house into a comfortable home.
