In light of the recent global pandemic, I'm declaring that a Vulcan hand salute is much safer than shaking someone's hand.

Didn't Nimoy note that it's actually some kind of Jewish benediction he observed as a child? So, not really unique, even if most people don't know where it came from.

Saw this...and thought of this Thread: "Masks are out at In-N-Out after burger chain bans employees from wearing them in 5 states" (AP 07/19/23).
Management's why: “the importance of customer service and the ability to show our Associates' smiles and other facial features while considering the health and well-being of all individuals.”
--Once upon a time management was threatening to fire employees for not wearing a mask. Now management is threatening to fire employees for wearing a mask.--
FOR THE RECORD: Management IS allowing a medical exemption from the "NO Mask Mandate".
ON ANOTHER NOTE: Will the time ever come when someone recommends an eatery with…
'The food’s lousy and the service is slow, but the employees all have lovely smiles'?

I don't know if the food is lousy, but the customers wouldn't mind this kind of slow service.
And the employees all have lovely smiles.

The First Clip: Think the first comment under this clip says it all: "I know what you’re thinking…it’s about damn time…"
The Second Clip: Don't know about the food, service, or smiles; but, the Keyboardist is certain to get a
rating!
Thanks for the chuckles.

I used to adore In-N-Out until six months ago, when the cheeseburger I bought was the worse cheeseburger I had ever gotten from that place.

Know the feeling when you have to give up on a favorite. The owner of our longtime, #1 takeout location hung-up-his-apron, moved away, and left the place to his son and nephew. In no time at all the prices rose and the quality fell.

Yeah. But it's been a few...I think 2017 or so.
