What I mean was I was expecting there to be a triangle with Lucus/Hayley/Nathan and was pleasantly surprised that the writers did not do that. That was a nice change.

It wouldn't have made much sense, and it would have made Lucas look pretty bad considering he'd already been trying to get with Peyton while she was still with Nathan.
