This show had quite a few biazarre eps. But the least fitting one was about the very pretty Earth lady named Marna. Mark became enamored of her and she had a cozy little house. She was watched by the government. Did Kobick know about any of this!?!
(High point was the show's only romance between Earthlings!)

Nightmare, the one where they're having hallucinations and sporadically turn invisible would be my odd one out. A couple fun facts; the Tuesday Weld movie Pretty Poison was playing at a theater on the giant planet, the episode reunited Torin Thatcher with Seventh Voyage of Sinbad (which featured a shrunken woman) director Nathan Juran, and Juran reused the "distorted face shot" from Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman, which he also directed.
The Golden Cage leaves you with something to think about. It would have been nice if Marna came back later on and had an arc of some kind after Mark left her to her fate. I suppose she was comfortable and contented, but she was still a lab subject.

Quinc, I remember the ep you write of. First they move slowly then they disappear. And the captain while on train tracks thought he saw Kobick as conducting a train while laughing just like a complete maniac. But there was a very rational explanation for it. Therefore! That one should indeed be second oddest though.

God knows, Quinc, that ep you mentioned is so great.
