What about Brian? Of his close-knit group of friends, everyone else has paired off, while Brian has emerged as the last bachelor standing. At 32, regardless of his run of bad luck in matters of the heart, Brian Davis still holds out hope that one day he'll open the door and be blinded by love. However, questions about his fate have been popping up more frequently in his head. The most pressing question is, and it's one that only he can answer, could all of his problems stem from the fact that he is harboring a crush on the picture-perfect Marjorie, his best friend's girl?

Six months have passed since Brian left town following a heartbreaking blow out with Marjorie, the current love of his life -- who also happens to be engaged to Brian's best friend, Adam. Dave and Deena, have been suffering the fallout of their disastrous experiment with an open marriage. Meanwhile Brian's sister, Nicole, is thrilled to finally be pregnant, but unfortunately she's doing most of the nesting alone, since her husband is off in Rome starring in his first film.

Meanwhile, Dave goes along with Nicole for moral support to a screening of Angelo's last movie, where she meets a mysterious woman with a connection to her late husband.
