I prefer shows dubbed in English, but I'm glad I watched this one anyway. I got good enough at reading the subtitles quickly not to miss things. And on Netflix it is easy to hit pause if need be. Behzat is a captain in the homicide bureau in the city of Ankara, Turkey. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, and abhors the idea of ass-kissing. His contemporaries from the academy have risen higher in rank because of this. He bends rules in pursuit of justice, is gruff, but has a good heart. His Lt. and second in command is a young cop named Huran who never missed a meal, and is quite a bit on the not so bright side, which makes for some funny segments.
I wasn't sure I liked the show until I watched several episodes, about 7 or so. Give it a chance.
