One of the worst remakes ever. They made Mildred Pierce so dowdy looking it was embarrassing. Joan Crawford always looked so well dressed and stylish even in the kitchen.
Why did they make the ending so polar opposite.
This is one mini series I wasted my time on and won't be watching again.

I read the book many years ago. The mini series followed the book for the most part. That being said, I hated the mini series, give me the Crawford movie, with its noir touches, any day. And such a great cast.

No one could surpass Joan Crawford and Ann Blyth in the movie.
