As the spiritual sucessor to Scilly doesn't cut it. I can see why it's considered the weakest season as these two are a poor imitation of the original.

Unlike a lot of fans I like Monica, but she was very unnecessary since Scully was still around.

I like her and liked her with Robert Patrick. I thought I wouldn't but these two turned out to be great substitutes for M and S. Why she is in cahoots with CSM, I don't know.
