Miss Universe 1974 was the 23rd Miss Universe pageant, held on 21 July 1974[a][1] at the Folk Arts Theater in the City of Manila, Philippines. It was the first Miss Universe pageant to ever be held in the Philippines, and in extension, Asia.

Miss Universe 1976 was the 25th Miss Universe pageant, held on 11 July 1976 at the Lee Theatre in Hong Kong.

Miss Universe 1977 was the 26th Miss Universe pageant, held on 16 July 1977 at the National Theater in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It was the first time in the pageant's history that the event was held in Dominican Republic.

Miss Universe 1978 was the 27th Miss Universe pageant, held on 24 July 1978 at the Centro de Convenciones de Acapulco in Acapulco, Mexico. It was the first time in the pageant's history that the event was held in Mexico.

Miss Universe 1979 was the 28th Miss Universe pageant, held on 19 July 1979 at the Perth Entertainment Centre in Perth, Australia.

Miss Universe 1980 was the 29th Miss Universe pageant, held on 8 July 1980[a] at the Sejong Cultural Center in Seoul, South Korea.[1] It was the first time in the pageant's history that the event was held in South Korea.
