Discuss Bates Motel

I had it recorded and it recorded for an hour and 5 mins and it still cut off. Why was it over an hour? The last i seen Norman was rushing in his house wanting to talk to his mom after his dinner with that blonde girl (don't remember her name).

Norman searched the house for 'Norma', but couldn't find her, then he ended up in the kitchen where he saw 2 places set, but no Norma in sight. Then he had the famous psycho stare from the film at the end. End of episode.

 Loved it!

Thnx

Absolutely. Notice how they're giving him some of Anthony Perkins' mannerisms, right down to the head angle when he was looking at the register and the candy eating! And that ultra creepy stare at the end. I've never been able to look at Tony Perkins at the end of Psycho. Those eyes were just toooo scary looking.

Perkins had "creepy" down to a science LOL! Freddie is very good, but not as good as Anthony Perkins. But, I didn't think of the head angle while eating the candy. Good catch and now I see it in my head. Were they "candy corn"?

When this series first started I watched a few in the middle of the first season. I was unimpressed. I then watched the last episode of the 2nd season where Norman is given the polygraph and he looks up and breaks the fourth wall just like Tony Perkins did, THAT SOLD ME ON THE SERIES.!! Watched it ever since.
