Discuss Doctor Who

Do we really want to know the true name of the Doctor? Would we enjoy the show more... or less?

What about the Master (Missy)? His (her) name is mentioned in some novels, but has it on television?

I agree with Moffat, it's better unknown and mysterious, once it becomes known it's just a name, no matter how grand and glorious.

Yep I would agree with that. There are some mysteries I feel the show should hang on to. To be honest I would prefer the Doctor backstory to be kept to a minimum. The odd story here, an off hand comment there.
