I'd rather wait to know until the actual regeneration but I guess that will be impossible in this age of the Internet 😊

The UK press have all decided it's Jodie Whittaker.

Not a bad choice actually. I'm not known for being a SJW but a young female Doctor? Sounds like someone took a duster cleaner at BBC.

I haven't watched it since Tenant but would be interested if they went with his fellow Broadchurch actor.

Broadchurch was excellent and they are both very good actors. Playing the Doctor I'm sure will be a nice change of character for her after three seasons of barely cracking a smile. Understandable of course.

She's an excellent actor but I'm starting to worry that it's all fake news and we'll end up with the ginger plank of wood from Death in Paradise tired_face

No I don't see it. My personal choice would be Jonny Lee Miller but he's not even on the shortlist.

Good choice but his contract with CBS would never allow it.

That promo felt very promising in so few frames. I'm excited.

" we'll end up with the ginger plank of wood from Death in Paradise"

I was hoping that it would be that 'ginger plank of wood' (Kris Marshall). He's quirky and to me has the look of a 'Doctor Who'.
