"Col. Simcoe" isn't done fighting the "rebellious colonists" yet. There is more to come before he's shipped off to Mother England and later, to "Upper Canada."
See this article about our favorite "British military psychopath.";)

Thanks; I missed the previews.
Hope Hewlett finishes him off but I'm guessing he won't.
A question about Hewlett- Abe promised him Richard's estate in return for his silence, but would he be able to keep it?
Much Tory property was confiscated after the war. I think a British soldier's house would be among the first to go.
I was thinking the same thing!!! I was wondering if legally Hewlett would be able to keep the mansion and land. The real Hewlett was an American Loyalist, but for the show I want to know if a British Citizen was allowed to keep land and property in the newly created USA after the war.
There is a historian who writes a piece called "TURN TO A HISTORIAN" who covers the behind the scenes stuff with this series(link posted below). I hope he covers this very issue.
As for Simcoe, he's my favorite character on the show. He deserved death more than anyone but he's just so entertaining that I hope he survives again. Historically he went on to minor greatness in Canada, so he has that going for him.

MINOR SPOILERS
He's seen to be alive but seriously injured in the preview. Hewlett approaches him and Simcoe is quite alarmed by that fact.
