Discuss Impractical Jokers

Item: Season 1

Language: en-US

Type of Problem: Incorrect_content

Extra Details: Incorrect episodes in season 1. All episodes from (and including) S01E09 should be moved one number up (9->10, 10->11 and so on). Then, add a new episode 9 named "Joker's Choice".

I feel this is getting a bit hostile. We are both trying to make the correct decision.

Could you please ping someone else? @banana_girl

There are no hostility. We will reconsider our opinion if you have can provide us a proof. In the meantime, there will be no change.

I have given plenty of proof. Do you mean directly from truTV? Their website does not contain this information. I have used VPNs, Wayback Machine and other tricks to see their webpages as they previously were and currently are.

I could send them an email? Can you specify exactly what I should ask them? I'm afraid that when I finally get the answer from truTV, it was not asked in exactly the way you want (e.g. broadcast dates at that specific time).

The proof can also be TV schedules of that time or press releases with episode numbers on them.

The problem with the email is that it will be received by people that are in charge now and not by people that were in charge at the time of the first broadcast.

Does these historical TV schedules help?

Here is the same Wikipedia link you sent earlier, but at the time right after season 1 finished. It says the season contained 17 episodes (see sidebar), and also list the episodes. This must be the closest thing I'm going to find as proof of "at the time of the first broadcast".

The truth has finally come from the TruTV site.

Here is an archived page presenting the episode 9 : https://web.archive.org/web/20200220200452/https://www.trutv.com/shows/impractical-jokers/season-1/episode-9/a-loser-presents

We can see in the URL that the episode 9 is titled "A loser presents" and, inside the page, we see that the episodes 10 and 11 are titled "What did I eat?" and "Starfart Macchiato".

You are correct and and I was wrong! Good job locating what I was unable to do!

One last request: It seems episode 9 (which you have correctly identified to be "A loser presents") is listed as being broadcasted 2012-02-02, but the correct date is 2012-02-16 (Joker's Choice was aired 2012-02-02, but it's a special). Could this be corrected?

All sources in this thread, including your own Wikipedia link, says "A loser presents" was aired 2012-02-16.

Thanks for taking the time to get to the bottom of this. Sorry for wasting your time.

The date has been fixed.
