The 3rd round Interhigh match against Aoba Johsai has begun. Without wasting any time, Kageyama and Oikawa start a setter battle. The episode follows the progress of Lev Haiba, a first-year Middle Blocker who aspires to become Nekoma's ace.

In order to go to the training camps to Tokyo, none of the team members can get failing grades.
