Discuss Childhood's End

I rather enjoyed the 1st 2 episodes and the make up was pretty cool for the overloads. But i found the final episode to be a complete mess with no the whole narrative falling (especially the overmind) to pieces. Has anyone read the book and watched the TV series who can provide a view on whether the book is worth it?

I read the book after I watched the series on TV. I liked the book and it's worth a read. It's not a long book either. However, the book is very different from the mini-series.

I'll give it to. Thanks
