Like I said previously Bond is like a brand ,and with brands people expect certain things it is financially risky to change the formula too much (look at what happened withe Coke in the 80's when they tried to change the recipe).

@wonder2wonder wink Kudos on your comment about Moneypenny. Fun fact: Denzel Washington's character in the Equalizer movies, Robert McCall, was played on TV by a white English actor, Robert Woodward. Another Fun Fact: Timothy Dalton's mother was an American of Irish and Italian descent. So technically, there has been an American James Bond.

Pierce Brosnan is Irish .Connery is Scottish

And George Lazenby is Australian. And yet another Fun Fact: American actor James Brolin did a screen test for James Bond and came VERY close to being the lead in Octopussy.

Edward.

I'm VERY picky about my Equalizers. (And Denzel Washington hasn't been good in anything since St Elsewhere.)

And I'm frankly shocked that you would miss that, since Robert Lansing was "Control." But maybe that's who you were thinking of. grinning

Sorry about Mr. Woodward's first name typo. You're absolutely right that I should be more knowledgeable about that.

Blame on the drugs they gave you Maria stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye

No need, she's ALWAYS thinking about Robert Lansing. grinning

that is probably because of the drugs Knix laughing

I don't need drugs to think about Robert Lansing. BTW, I thought I'd wish all of you a very happy early Robert Lansing's Birthday.

And a happy Birthday Robert Lansing to you Maria.

Thanks.
