Discuss Patria

are not the murderers, but the fanatic mother and priest, I don't remember seeing in long time such horrible characters

btw why was Txato considered traitor or oppressor? he was local like anyone else, just successful businessman and maybe not done strong supporter of independence

before this show I thought ETA was some reasonable organization targeting soldiers and police which makes some sense in their fight for independence, but targeting ordinary businessmen is just too much and just plain terrorism

Txato is an example of the "revolutionary tax" suffered by almost all Basque businessmen.

Around 350 of their murders (40% of total) were civilians (including children and teenagers) and hurt thousands more.
