New this Fall on ABC. Can three men who hate each other unite in their love for a child? Part of ABC's new must-see comedy block.
Seriously, this kid is drowning in daddies. He's got Franco, Jason, and Drew. And sorta Lucky if he ever comes back. Meanwhile his two brothers are locked away in the basement as virtual orphans. Maybe Cameron and Aiden can get one of Jake's hand-me-down daddies.
BTW, Hudson West (I think that's his name) was amazing as Jake in his scene with Drew and Liz. Often he comes across as talented but a little too Disney-polished, but in that scene he just seemed emotionally raw, and I'm surprised by how affected I was by the kid. Reminds me of the effect Selzer used to have when Robin "died". A crying child is always an easy tug-at-the-heart-strings cheap ploy, but at least he sold it.

Mendenhall has also been dragged in to the current sex scandals going on right now.
The female who says Stallone assaulted her back in the 1980s said that she was introduced to Stallone at his Las Vegas hotel room by Mendenhall when shooting "Over The Top", who says he never did that & only introduced his family members to Stallone.

Mendenhall had a dopey sitcom feel to him, worse than West who has it to a degree. But Mendenhall had his moments. Bechtel is like fingernails on a chalk board. He's like the love child of Rip Taylor and Pee Wee Herman. But, when they pull in the reins, he can be decent.
