From the producer of Shaft and Shafted comes a 16mm film created to open your eyes to the dementia of what is being accomplished on a wakeboard. Bump Films is proud to present the Directors Cut of The Faction on DVD. It's been nearly 3 years since Team Hyperlite has gathered to document their skills in a wakeboard film. A project has begun to do exactly that, featuring hammers dropped by Rusty, Murray, JD, Ruck, Rathy, O'Shea, Grubb, Schwenne, BT, Nicola and Jimmy LaRiche. This film promises to deliver a perspective never before captured in a wakeboard film. Director Keith Kipp, a former Hyperlite athlete, has an advantage when he's behind the lens because he's spent time in front of the cameras on his wakeboard. For the next 6 months, he and his crew will be spending time at different team's homes, in their backyards and in their faces to grab the necessary footage showcasing their talents, their personalities and their antics for you. Get ready for a ground breaking film with a hard hitting soundtrack featuring the A-Team, brought to you by Alliance Multi Media & Hyperlite Wakeboards!

One thing we love in wakeboarding videos, is a video that has a unique style and original feel to it. That is "Boombox". Justin Stephens and Cadmium Productions spent some time with the Pointless Posse along with Scott Byerly and Gregg Necrason to put together a video that just flat out works! The music in Boombox was all done by one artist called MYG from Portland, Oregon, and the music is full of great beats that go well with wakeboarding, and would sound great coming out of any boombox. Each rider has a strong section featuring some of the latest and greatest tricks in wakeboarding, and much of the film was shot from unique helicopter angles.

Welcome is primarily the latest team video from Hyperlite, but it's also billed in the intro as a tribute to the "Welcome" family that built Radar Lake in Washington, which was bought by Herb O'brien and turned into the official testing grounds for Hyperlite products. This video pays homage to that history by taking the Hyperlite pro wakeboard and wakeskate team and filming them on and off the water while they spend some time at Radar Lake. Each rider is given a significant section in the film

In a time when videos were starting to become standardized. Similar tricks, editing styles, swapping big name riders on the box cover. Our team decided to step back from the traditional approach of media saturation. Hanging somewhat low from seasonal videos, to wait for a DVD that will live up to its confident title. Instead, they decided to make a movie that makes a difference - the right way, the long way - the hard way. Thru 3 cadaver surgeries, several other round trip tickets to the hospital and many sleepless nights chasing the elusive "missing hammer", out team finished a movie that sums up why they got into wakeboarding and wakeskating. Each in their own way with distinct personalities they all felt the pressure and motivation, as tricks from their friends/teammates were being captured on a daily basis.

West Side Connection delivers again with a Wake-flick worthy of a sequel! Delta Session II (produced by Jason Buffalow and Sean Branecki) surpasses your expectations with professional level talent and big-budget quality in a regional video. DS2, The Summer of Style, has something for everyone. The West Side Connection team brought the regional riders you would expect, with the addition of a few Florida guests back to the Delta.

Free4All may be the best video yet to come out of the editing bay of Mark Bame and his crew at Bump Films. This release, shot almost entirely on 16mm film, features today's best riders doing some of the most technical riding seen to date. Almost every section was solid from beginning to end, with crisp, clean images leaping off the screen. Memorable moments come from Brian Grubb's wakeskating section, Parks Bonifay's always impressive wakeboarding section, and the craziest and most dangerous wakeboard stunt performed to date; the U-Haul gap where a few riders gap a road by riding on top of a huge U-Haul truck! That section alone is worth the price of buying this DVD! This gap was so nasty Kyle Schmidt tore his knee upon impact to the water after jumping off the roof of the truck!

Bump Films followed up Shaft, with another 16mm wakeboard masterpiece called "SHAFTED - The Saga Continues." Bringing you the top pro riders from around the world, with helicopters, 25 foot sliders, double-ups and triple-ups, along with groundbreaking technical tricks. SHAFTED contains one of the most memorable segments of all time as Parks Bonifay blows up your screen not once, but twice with an amazing technical display of including 900s, Double Half Cab Rolls, and more handle-pass inverts than you can shake a wakeboard rope at! FEATURED RIDERS Shaun Murray Parks Bonifay Darin Shapiro Rob Struharik Shawn Watson Brannan Johnson Shane Bonifay.

Just in time for the early-summer thaw comes Shaft, a 45-minute wakeboard video "incident" that features some of the top riders in wakeboarding, both on and off the water. You may have seen parts of this video already: You know, the one with Shaun and Parks dressed up like Beastie Boys'-style undercover cops a la "Sabotage" video. Well, the cops are back with more riders playing undercover including Darin, Brannan, Tara, the Heaneys and more. It almost seems as though way more time was spent making the "cops" scenes than actually filming the riding. Shot entirely on 16-mm film, Shaft has a smooth, fluid look. It was filmed on location in Oregon, northern California and Florida, providing a variety of backdrops. Although it boasts a long list of riders, it mainly features Necrason, Murray, Shapiro, Bonifay, Lavelle, Johnson and Siebring with a cameo by Randy Harris and a nice introduction to Shawn Watson.
