Half-Indian girl brought up in a wealthy household is loved by the son of the house against his family's wishes and loves another Indian employed by the household.

A sleeping car employee seeking a well-deserved rest is prevented from doing so by the crowing of his neighbor's rooster. Just as he's about to settle the score, he's presented with a gift: a rubber band around the annoying bird's beak temporarily puts an end to its vocalizations. But the animal can't be left alone, and Pierre has to take it with him on his nocturnal journeys: you can imagine the disturbance it can cause when, after being thrown out of a wagon window, it lands in the next van full of pheasants. The whole little world spills out onto the train, and the conductor is not at all pleased! Pierre manages to get a young passenger to assume ownership of the rooster, but not for long. Every time Pierre tries to get rid of it, it somehow comes back to him.

Little Henery the Chicken Hawk wants to prove he's big enough to hunt chickens, but he doesn't know what a chicken is. He labels Foghorn Leghorn a loud-mouthed shnook and dismisses him, prompting Foggy to indignantly try to prove he's a chicken and therefore fit to be Henery's prey.

Donald reads in his newspaper that eggs are really going up in value and the price is skyrocketing. Donald realizes that if he had some eggs, he would be quite the wealthy duck so he breaks into a nearby hen-house and collects as many eggs as possible putting them all in a huge basket. Unfortunately, a rooster standing guard makes his presence known and ejects Donald. The inventive duck is able to get back in disguised as a female chicken who the rooster falls for and dances with. Unfortunately, with the rubber glove comb constantly coming loose and a caterpillar falling down the back of his suit, he is ever at the risk of being discovered.

The title character comes to town, complete with portable boxing ring. He grabs a local chicken and dances with her, inspiring several other barnyard animals to dance. But her rooster takes offense, and enters the ring to do battle.

As winter gives way to spring in the Russian wilderness, a crafty fox promptly expels a defenceless hare from his warm, comfortable residence, claiming the house for himself and leaving the poor owner to sleep outside under the stars. An assortment of compassionate animals – a wolf, a bear, a bull – take pity on the disheartened hare, and attempt to evict the cunning fox, but to no avail. Along comes a hilariously militant rooster, proud and tenacious, who marches into the hare's house and doesn't give up until the fox has been hounded back into the wilderness.

A lip-smacking weasel invades the barnyard of Foghorn Leghorn and his usual canine foe, and Foghorn is quite willing to put baby chicks in danger of being taken by the weasel so long as it makes the dog appear to be failing his job of guarding the chicks.
