Prof. Jaquin Delano joins a circus to study practical zoology. Old man Cummings is the guardian of Anita, a beautiful girl. Cummings rages because the circus tents are pitched too near his palatial home. Anita visits the menagerie tent, sees Jaquin and is impressed with his kind treatment of the wild beasts.

At the heart of the South-East Asia, there are impenetrable forests. Outstanding Men kept it an ancestral know-how: the taming of the elephants. We call them Bunong – the original people of mountains. For centuries, Bunong considers the elephants as their brothers of the forest. Together, they worked miracles. Majestic quoted from Angkor was built thanks to the ingenuity of the men, allied to the physical strength of their elephants. They live in harmony in this world of forests where a brilliant multitude reigns over the fate of the men and the animals.

In this traditional blue-chip documentary we show a dramatic comparison between two environments fed by the same stock of sardine, and dominated by the Cape gannets.

The film is about a family of shepherds who keep animals in the Caucasus mountains. The sudden arrival of autumn, the snowfall in the mountains, the closure of the migration route put the shepherd in a difficult situation. Realizing that he would not be able to move back all his animals, he leaves his 14-year-old son behind. The teenager has to protect himself and his animals from both the snowstorm and the wolves that attack the village. The baby lamb given to him by his uncle and a picture magazine given by a young artist girl traveling to the mountains provide the only moral support to the lonely child.

After an explosive and fortuitous encounter, a male hyena and a leopard join forces and create a peculiar hunting alliance.

Wolves are back. They bring along both fear and hope. Do they still have place in our nature?

Wolves divide and fascinate us. 150 years after they were driven to extinction in Central Europe, they are returning slowly but inexorably. Are they dangerous to humans? Is it possible to coexist? Using Switzerland as a point of departure, where wolves have returned in the very recent past, this documentary sheds light on the wolf situation in Austria, eastern Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, and even Minnesota, where freely roaming packs of wolves are more common sight.

These practices however are only a prelude to his first hunting experience in the forests around the farm one spring morning. The purpose is to bring home trophies to mount on his walls. The animals he encounters that day change the focus of what he ends up bringing home.
