La sitcom è incentrata sulla vita di un ragazzo proveniente da Philadelphia che vive con dei ricchi parenti (la zia materna e lo zio avvocato, in seguito giudice) in una villa di Bel Air. In 6 stagioni vennero prodotti 148 episodi trasmessi in moltissime nazioni.
