The story revolves around a writer's writing and psychology. How would the writer feel if his own character came in front of him? Is it possible to measure someone's worth in money? What is the present? What is the truth? Is death the end?

A mother and her son return to their home in Sylhet, Bangladesh after 15 years abroad and try to retrace their roots. Beginning with the death of the father of the family, the film proceeds with the central characters seeking a link to their lives.

A murder is committed in a village without any clue left behind. However, there is a man with an unnatural power of understanding animals and their language in the village. He starts to unravel the mystery of the murder with the help of his unnatural power.
