Mikrokosmos to niezwykły film przedstawiający życie mieszkańców łąki: biedronek, ślimaków, pająków, pszczół, gąsienic i innych owadów. Nigdy dotąd nie byliśmy tak blisko ich radości, dramatów i uczuć. Dzięki technice towarzyszymy bohaterom filmu podczas narodzin, życia i śmierci. Nakręcony w ciągu trzech lat film zachwyca kolorami i ujęciami świata, który leży tuż u naszych stóp.
Trzecia część kultowej, uznanej przez krytyków trylogii Godfreya Reggio i Philipa Glassa. Po "Koyaanisqatsi" (film zdobył nagrodę Los Angeles Film Critics Association), pokazującym szaleństwo świata i "Powaqqatsi", ukazującym życie w transformacji, powstała trzecia część "Naqoyqatsi" - świat w stanie wojny. "Naqoyqatsi" wykorzystuje oszałamiające wiązki obrazów oraz technikę by zaprezentować piękny i poruszający obraz rozwoju relacji ludzi z naturą i technologią.
A woman narrates the thoughts of a world traveler, meditations on time and memory expressed in words and images from places as far-flung as Japan, Guinea-Bissau, Iceland, and San Francisco.
Powaqqatsi to sekwencja zdjęć nakręconych w Azji, Afryce i Ameryce Południowej. W pierwszej części filmu pokazane są obrazy "dziewiczego" i nieskażonego jeszcze zachodnią cywilizacją świata. Ten obraz jest później skonfrontowany z wielkimi zatłoczonymi aglomeracjami Azji i Ameryki Południowej, slamsami i zanieczyszczeniami. Tytuł filmu oznacza w indiańskim języku Hopi istotę, która by podążać dalej pochłania życiowe siły innych.
Eksperymentalny film, którego tematem są krajobrazy afrykańskie, księga Popol Vuh i muzyka. Fata Morgana to dokumentalny, impresyjny i bardzo osobisty poemat, jedno z najznakomitszych i zarazem najdziwniejszych dzieł Herzoga i nowego kina niemieckiego w ogóle. Film składa się z trzech części. Stworzenie, Raj i Złoty wiek, a każda z tych sekwencji "symfonii obrazowej" opatrzona jest komentarzem z Popol Vuh - świętej księgi Indian.

What starts off as a conventional travelogue turns into a satirical portrait of the town of Nice on the French Côte d'Azur, especially its wealthy inhabitants.
A day in the city of Berlin, which experienced an industrial boom in the 1920s, and still provides an insight into the living and working conditions at that time. Germany had just recovered a little from the worst consequences of the First World War, the great economic crisis was still a few years away and Hitler was not yet an issue at the time.
Carefully picked scenes of nature and civilization are viewed at high speed using time-lapse cinematography in an effort to demonstrate the history of various regions.

A lyrical portrait of Amsterdam and its changing appearance during a rain-shower.
Morning reveals New York harbor, the wharves, the Brooklyn Bridge. A ferry boat docks, disgorging its huddled mass. People move briskly along Wall St. or stroll more languorously through a cemetery. Ranks of skyscrapers extrude columns of smoke and steam. In plain view. Or framed, as through a balustrade. A crane promotes the city's upward progress, as an ironworker balances on a high beam. A locomotive in a railway yard prepares to depart, while an arriving ocean liner jostles with attentive tugboats. Fading sunlight is reflected in the waters of the harbor. The imagery is interspersed with quotations from Walt Whitman, who is left unnamed.
Avant-Drag! paints portraits of ten drag artists of varying gender expressions and sexualities who take to the streets of Athens to query, problematise and (yes, please!) undermine social strictures. Employing wildly imagined personas – like riot housewives and Albanian turbo-folk girls – who perform acts as revolutionary as praising abortion and as charming as drawing childish pictures, these artists call for social justice by taking aim at conservatism, patriarchy, patriotism, racism and sexism.
This short documentary, shot in the glass factories of Leerdam and Schiedam, demonstrates how glass blowers do their work. But thanks to the superbly edited ballet of working hands and the sequence of mechanical motions of the engines, is it especially a cinematic tour de force. That the industry can’t do without man’s involvement is shown in the scene where we hear the voice of Haanstra himself counting the bottles on the conveyor belt, until one bottle breaks…
This short experimental film tells the story of a man who comes to Hollywood to become a star, only to fail and be dehumanized. He is identified by the number 9413 written on his forehead.
A formally free poetic documentary filmed through a summer depression in northern Portugal.
