Documentary about Queen Elizabeth Square, Sir Basil Spence's block of Brutalist style flats built to replace the Gorbal's tenements in Glasgow during the 1960s. His vision was based on architect Le Corbusier's ideas and inspired him to transform the Gorbals into a Modernist Utopia. The film is about the life and times of one building told by some of the people involved in its history. The block was dynamited in 1993 amidst controversy and the death of a spectator. It is mentioned in Pevsner's Notable Buildings of Britain. This film was shown on BBC Scotland's Ex-S strand in 1993. Produced by May Miller and directed by Conrad Blakemore. An anthology film about ghosts. HIGHLAND FLING - Amidst the mystique of the Highlands, a young couple embarking on their journey of love unexpectedly crosses paths with an elderly couple nearing the end of theirs. FLOWERS - In a serene park, John and Simon rendezvous for a heartfelt conversation with the spectral presence of Simon's departed wife. WEE MONKEYS - Over a cup of coffee, Sunshine's convictions face a test when she engages in a thought-provoking exchange with a candid stranger. THE SEANCE - Drawn by curiosity and longing, three disparate individuals converge at a solemn seance, eager to commune with their departed loved ones from beyond the veil.

Kyogo Furuhashi has taken Celtic by storm since joining the club in the summer of 2021. He has scored 26 goals so far in the 2022-2023 season as the Hoops chase a domestic treble. The Japan international was recently followed by a documentary crew in his homeland during the first half of the season. During the film, fans heard from the player about life in Scotland, recieved an insight into his friendship with team-mate Jota and also witnessed the vivid motivations, scoring, and growth after disappointment in missing out on the squad for the World Cup in Qatar.

The film follows the preparations for Glasgow's 1938 May Day March and the march itself, with the participation of students, workers and politicians.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh, architect, designer and artist is celebrated around the world as one of the most significant talents to have emerged in the period from the mid 1890s to the late 1920s. He was one of the greatest, most original talents of this time and has been judged a precursor of firstly the modernist style and subsequently of the Art Deco movement. His legacy lives on all around us in his instantly recognisable style. A MODERN MAN takes a critical look at Mackintosh’s life and artistic career and the importance of the friends and patrons who provided him with regular work when it mattered most.

This is the first Runrig video, filmed by Scottish Television in 1990, with live footage of the Barrowlands Ballroom Concert in Glasgow. The programme shows Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie's fascination with music from an early age, listening to the sounds of Elvis and Aretha Franklin before graduating to punk. He talks about his passion for music and how to keep creativity on the right track. In the early 90s the UK music scene was changing - with Oasis and Blur emerging, this alternative rock band was recording in Memphis but suddenly sounded out of step with the music scene.

Two friends go for a day trip to Glasgow together, one of the friends has decided to document the day with a handheld camera their dad gave them.

The film examines Mackintosh's iconic buildings, notably the Glasgow School of Art. Interwoven with his architecture, design and watercolours is the personal story of Mackintosh. Little known at home, his work found favour on the continent. In later years he struggled for work, and came to endure real poverty, but continued to create remarkable pieces of art.

A story of a father and son and... a volcano. Gavin built a 6-foot volcano and he asked his Dad if he could store it in his shed for a short while until he figured out what to do with it, but that turned into five years and his Dad has threatened to destroy it over the years. Gavin aspires to bring him and his Dad together through the volcano, to help his father see it as he does. However, there's a challenge - his dad holds no interest in modern art and has declined any involvement in the documentary.

The film tells the story of James Morrison’s early years, painting the tenements of Glasgow, through to his dramatic encounter with a polar bear while painting melting icebergs in North West Greenland. As the artist struggles with imposing blindness, the film follows James, as he prepares for what turned out to be his last ever public exhibition at the Scottish Gallery in Edinburgh in January 2020.

Top Scottish comedian Kevin Bridges hosts this very special night of comedy live from Glasgow's legendary Theatre Royal to celebrate the Commonwealth Games coming to the city. Kevin takes to the stage in front of a live theatre audience to present four internationally-renowned comics from the Commonwealth countries. Appearing on stage are Canada's finest Katherine Ryan, top South African comedian Trevor Noah, Scotland's own Danny Bhoy and English comic Simon Evans.
