Six filmmakers. Six countries. One journey. Innersection Films continues its pioneering adventures in collaborative filmmaking with the release of SE7EN SIGNS. For this project, an online audience picked their favorite six filmmakers from the Innersection series and we sent them each in a different direction to film their part of this surf/travel movie. But instead of making six short films, director Nathan Myers (Here & Now, Castles in the Sky) creatively curated each of the filmmakers’ edits into a single, rollicking, surprise-filled adventure. This is a film about traveling in search of waves…and everything that happens along the way.
Travel around the world with Powerlines Productions as they showcase the best surfers taking on the biggest and gnarliest waves to date. Our trip starts off with Adam Replogle, Skinny and Peter Mel going southbound looking for the perfect wave. Heading back home we check out the gnarliest coldwater wave on the planet, Mavericks. This film captures mind-blowing swell events that made history and glue the viewer to its seat. You will travel following the footsteps of the film maker, Tim Bonython, and will embark on a memorable journey. Each sequence has a purpose and a story to tell. Immersion is an intense sight and sound experience for surfing enthusiasts and ocean lovers of all tastes, generation and walks of live.
During summer of 2023, a group of friends spent their free time filming a surfing video in Punta Hermosa, Perú. This is the end product.
