Not as good as the French original, but it's a decent thriller with a twist ending. 7/10
Spoiler Alert. Some points that didn't sit well with me:
- In the first scene the lovers could have let the wife die. Instead they gave her medicine to overcome the near-fatal attack due to her heart condition only so they could recreate the entire scene in the finale.
- Who could have taken the photo of the ladies carrying the wicker basket if the dead husband was supposed to be in it, and remain in it until dumped in the pool?
- When the detective looks into traffic accidents to
deduce the husband was traveling to the love nest on the night he disappeared, the police report would have indicated the mistress was driving, not the husband.
