He travels to Aladdin's village, identified as being near the border with China, where he enlists Aladdin's help by pretending to be his long-lost uncle and offering to leave his wealth to Aladdin. At one point, the Magician character tells the story of his travels to China, India and Persia and we see a montage of these adventures and it's kind of interesting because of the way it invokes other cultures of the era. There is some unnecessary padding throughout as characters break into songs that do nothing but tell parts of Once upon a time, somewhere in Africa, a local magician dreamed of owning the Magic Lamp. Thanks to a Magic Ball he learned that the Lamp could be found in an Asian village and that only the innocent hand of a young person could snatch it. He traveled to the place, a village called Three Hill City, close to the Chinese border. There lived Aladdin

Depuis son laboratoire dissimulé dans l’œil du Sphinx, le Magicien d’Afrique complote pour retrouver la lampe merveilleuse qui garantit un pouvoir absolu à quiconque la possède. Le Génie des Ténèbres l’informe que la lampe est cachée dans un pays lointain et que seule une main innocente d’enfant peut s’emparer du trésor. Avec l’aide de son tapis volant, le Magicien voyage jusqu’à une ville remplie de minarets et de jardins merveilleux, où règne un sultan. Il y rencontre Aladin, un garçon pauvre qui vit seul avec sa mère. Se faisant passer pour l’oncle d’Aladin, le Magicien amadoue l’enfant pour servir ses desseins et l’entraîne dans sa quête de la lampe merveilleuse…

Από το εργαστήριό του που είναι κρυμμένο στο άγαλμα της Σφίγγας, ο μάγος της Αφρικής σχεδιάζει να βρει το θαυμαστό λυχνάρι που εγγυάται απόλυτη δύναμη σε όποιον το κατέχει. Το σκοτεινό τζίνι τον πληροφορεί ότι το λυχνάρι είναι κρυμμένο σε μια μακρινή χώρα και ότι μόνο το χέρι ενός αθώου παιδιού μπορεί να πιάσει τον θησαυρό. Με τη βοήθεια του ιπτάμενου χαλιού του, ο μάγος ταξιδεύει σε μια πόλη γεμάτη μιναρέδες και υπέροχους κήπους, όπου κυβερνά ένας σουλτάνος και εκεί συναντά τον Αλαντίν, ένα φτωχό αγόρι που ζει μόνο του με τη μητέρα του. Προσποιούμενος ότι είναι ο θείος του, ο μάγος ξεγελάει το αγόρι για να εξυπηρετήσει τους σκοπούς του και το οδηγεί στην αναζήτηση του θαυμαστού λυχναριού...

Dal suo laboratorio nascosto nell'occhio della Sfinge, il mago d'Africa trama per riconquistare la lampada magica che garantisce potere assoluto a chi la possiede. Il genio delle tenebre lo informa che la lampada è nascosta in un Paese lontano e che solo la mano innocente di un bambino può impadronirsene. Con l'aiuto del suo tappeto magico, il mago si reca in una città piena di minareti e di splendidi giardini su cui regna un sultano. Qui, incontra Aladino, un povero ragazzo che vive solo con la madre. Presentandosi come suo zio, il mago con l'inganno convince Aladino ad aiutarlo nella sua ricerca della lampada magica.
