Ambition... or hubris?

This is a remake of Charade (1963), which originally starred Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, and Walter Matheu.
It's not impossible to remake a classic (in fact, there are several remakes I enjoy more than their originals) ... but it's gotta be done right.
I'm going to watch this and see what's up.

Thumbs down.
This movie lacks charm, was overly artsy to a confusing, seemingly arbitrary degree. It just didn't add anything above worth the effort.
Charade wasn't perfect, or even among my favourite Audrey Hepburn movies, but it's much more rewatchable/enjoyable than this mess.
