Nam-hee (Shim Hye-Jin) is going about selling fruit from her truck, when she nearly runs over a young gentleman, Joon (Lee Sang-Woo). Joon finds his way to Nam-hee's house, where he meets her mother Gan-nan (Kim Su-Mi), and her 20-year-old daughter Na-rae (Da-hee Lee). Through a series of circumstances, Joon comes to live with the three women, and with the introduction of a handsome man in their house, the three use their own skills to vie for his attention and compete for his affection.

남자 못지 않은 운전 솜씨로 트럭을 몰고 다니며 과일을 파는 서른 여덟 살 남희는 치매에 걸린 엄마 간난과 아나운서가 되겠다며 헛된 꿈을 품고 사는 철부지 스무 살 딸 나래와 함께 바람 잘 날 없는 하루하루를 씩씩하게 살아가는 여자다. 과일을 팔며 돌아다니던 어느날, 남희의 트럭에 바보스러울 정도로 순수한 청년 준이 뛰어든다. 트럭에 치일뻔한 준이 남희의 집에 찾아오면서 남희, 간난, 나래 세 모녀와 준의 동거 아닌 동거가 시작된다. 치매 때문에 소녀로 돌아간 간난만이 유일하게 준의 친구가 되고 남희와 나래는 겉으로는 멀쩡하지만 다소 엉뚱하고 바보스러운 준이 낯설기만 하다. 하지만 시간이 흐를수록 준의 순수한 마음과 따스한 미소는 세 모녀의 마음의 문을 열게 하고 무채색 같았던 그녀들의 삶이 무지개 색으로 물들기 시작한다. 남희를 오랫동안 짝사랑 해왔던 동네 노총각 정씨와 세 모녀, 준의 좌충우돌 알콩달콩한 생활이 계속되던 어느날, 준이 있던 요양원에서 사람들이 찾아오면서 준과 이별해야 하는 순간이 찾아온다. 마법처럼 찾아와 세 모녀에서 진정한 가족의 모습을 찾아준 준과의 강제적인 이별을 이대로 가만히 당할 수 없는 세 모녀는 준을 다시 만나기 위해 일생 일대의 기발한 계획을 세우는데….

Nam-hee (Shim Hye-Jin) está vendiendo fruta desde su camioneta, cuando casi atropella a un joven caballero, Joon (Lee Sang-Woo).
