NyMpha is the story of Sarah (Tiffany Shepis), a young American girl, who goes to Italy to take vows needed to become a cloister nun of the "New Order" Convent. The rules of the convent are very strict, so strict that they are often considered a form of torture. Sarah's path is divided into four steps, "hear" the Lord, "see" the Lord, "touch" the Lord and "talk" with the Lord... Each step will be painful for both Sarah's physical and mental self. Moreover, during Sarah's journey, she often has visions of the Convents past, visions that it was the house of a young girl named Ninfa... Ninfa's life was ruined by the religious fanaticism of her violent grandfather Geremia, who believes that he can talk directly with God. In reality, he is utterly mad, and this madness seems to be present today (within the walls of the convent) where young Sarah lives...

Die Amerikanerin Sarah zieht sich in ein abgelegenes italienisches Kloster zurück, um zu Gott zu finden. Unter den Augen der gestrengen Mutter Oberin unterzieht Sarah sich einer Meditation, die für sie sowohl physische als auch psychische Folter bereithält. Bei dieser Tortur erfährt sie immer wieder Visionen von der jungen Ninfa und dem alten Geremia, der scheinbar von irgend etwas besessen ist. Dieses Böse scheint auch heute noch das Kloster unsicher zu machen.

Sarah, ragazza americana, si reca in Italia per diventare una suora di clausura del Convento del “Nuovo Ordine”. Le regole sono molto dure, talmente dure da arrivare alla tortura. Il percorso di Sarah è diviso in quattro passi: “ascolta il Signore”, “vedi il Signore”, “tocca il Signore” e “parla con il Signore”, passaggi dolorosi sia per il fisico che per la mente della ragazza. Questo viaggio nella fede è accompagnato da una serie di visioni che le mostrano il passato del Convento e di Nympha, una giovane la cui vita è stata rovinata dal fanatismo religioso del nonno Geremia, un uomo violento che crede di poter parlare direttamente con Dio. La follia di quest’uomo, però, sembra non aver mai lasciato le mura del convento…
