Yusuf reist samen met zijn vriendin Zeynep af naar Oost-Turkije om de trouwerij van zijn beste vriend bij te wonen, waarmee hij samen in het leger zat. Alles draait uit op een nachtmerrie wanneer zijn vriend tijdens de bruiloft wordt doodgeschoten.

Yusuf Miroğlu and Zeynep travel to Diyarbakır in southeast Turkey to attend his best friend Cemal's wedding. While performing the traditional halay dance at the wedding, Cemal is killed by an assassin. Cemal's widowed wife Leyla pleads Yusuf to find the people behind the murder and bring them to justice. Yusuf finds himself caught in a struggle against the PKK and other terrorist groups in the area.

Yusuf und seine Freundin Zeynep machen sich auf den Weg nach Diyarbakýr, wo die Hochzeit ihres Freundes Cemal stattfinden soll. Yusuf und Cemal kennen sich noch aus ihrer Zeit bei der Armee, wo sie Seite an Seite gegen Terroristen kämpften. Doch auf der Feier wird Cemal von einem Killer erschossen - Yusuf setzt alles daran, den Mord an seinem Freund aufzuklären.

Yusuf Miroğlu, nişanlısı Zeynep ile beraber askerliğini birlikte yaptığı arkadaşının düğünü için Diyarbakır'a gider. Ancak arkadaşı düğün sırasında bir suikast sonucu hayatını kaybeder. Miroğlu, olayın sorumlularını araştırmaya başlayınca ortada çok karmaşık bir takım örgütlerin olduğunu görür.
