Het verhaal speelt zich af in Compton, Californië. 'G' (The Game) komt net uit de gevangenis, en stapt het drugswereldje weer in, als hij Alexis (Headley) tegenkomt. Zij is een undercover drugsagent. Geen van beide vertelt de ander wat ze echt doen, en dat is lastig als je een relatie krijgt.
