Two boys (Tamir & Amine) awake one morning to find that their father has abandoned their family. Shocked, they begin to misbehave. While surreptitiously watching a movie, they think they see their father speaking to them and steal the film to examine the frames. Their mother (Achta) eventually despairs and sends them to Koranic school. Unhappy, they plan their escape until the eldest boy falls in love with a deaf girl (Khalil).

Le père d'Amine et Tahir, huit et quinze ans, a quitté le domicile familial. Les deux frères décident alors de partir à sa recherche. Profondément choqués par cette brusque disparition, ils se mettent à traîner, à faire l'école buissonnière et à fréquenter les salles de cinéma. C'est là, qu'un jour, ils leur semblent reconnaître leur père à l'écran. Il volent les bobines pour garder un souvenir de leur père, mais la police ne tarde pas à les arrêter. Lasse de leur conduite, leur mère les envoie dans une école coranique.

차드와 카메룬 국경지대에 사는 형제에 대한 이야기이다. 어느 날 축구시합에서 주심을 맡기로 한 아버지가 나타나지 않는다. 형제들의 아버지가 어딘가로 사라져버린 것이다. 아이들은 아버지가 일하던 곳에 찾아가지만 아버지는 이미 2년 전부터 그곳에서 일하지 않았다는 얘기를 듣는다. 두 형제를 부양하는 데 어려움을 느낀 어머니는 그들을 규율이 엄격한 기숙학교에 맡긴다.

Pewnego dnia Tahir i Amine budzą się, żeby odkryć, że ich ojciec zniknął. Wybierają się na poszukiwania, ale bezowocne. Czas mija. Podczas gdy Amin wciąz stara się odnaleźć ojca, Tahir korzysta z wygód swego wieku i zaczyna się coraz bardziej interesować wiejską dziewczyną...

Dos hermanos, Tahir (15 años) y Amina (8 años), se despiertan una mañana y se enteran de que su padre ha abandonado el domicilio conyugal. De mutuo acuerdo, deciden salir en su busca en un largo errar a través de la ciudad.
