Veel mensen hebben te maken met de economische crisis, zo ook de minder succesvolle en harde zakenman Brutus Brein (Tony Neef). Brutus ziet de cijfers van zijn bedrijf steeds verder in het rood dalen. De enige persoon die geen hinder van de crisis ondervindt is Sinterklaas. Brutus ziet zijn kans om van zijn schuld af te komen door zijn producten aan de goedheiligman te verkopen. Wanneer Brutus merkt dat Sinterklaas geen interesse heeft in zijn producten, bedenkt hij samen met zijn moeder Dr. Brein (Pamela Teves) en haar handlangers Joris en Boris (Martijn van Nellestijn en Richard de Ruijter) een list om Sinterklaas te beroven.

Many people have to deal with the crisis, including the less successful and hard businessman Brutus Brein. Brutus sees the figures of his company fall further and further into the red. The only person who is not affected by the crisis is Sinterklaas. Brutus sees his chance to get rid of his debt by selling his products to the saintly man. When Brutus notices that Sinterklaas is not interested in his products, he and his mother devise Dr. Brein and her accomplices Joris and Boris plan to rob Sinterklaas. The two children Milan and Eva have intercepted the plans of the mean Brutus and do everything they can to inform Sinterklaas. Milan and Eva enter a race against time to save the upcoming Sinterklaas party.
