Zijn vader, zeer autoritair, heeft een boekwinkel met briefpapier die tevens dienst doet als winkel voor religieuze artikelen. Norbi wordt dat jaar geconfronteerd met mysteries over seksualiteit, religie en oorlog. Norbi zal een nieuwe wereld ontdekken, voor hem is het tijd om te laten zien dat hij geen kind meer is. Zal Norbi gehoorzamen?

October 1962, the height of the Cuban missile crisis… Norbi, 12, lives in a small industrial town typical of southern Luxembourg. His father, very authoritarian, owns a bookstore-stationery that also serves as a store for religious items. That year, Norbi will be confronted with mysteries about sexuality, religion and war. Son père, très autoritaire, est propriétaire d'une librairie-papeterie qui fait également fonction de magasin pour articles religieux. Cette année-là, Norbi va être confronté à des mystères touchant à la sexualité, la religion et la guerre.
