The film is about the difficult situation in which the Pakistanis in particular and the Muslims in general are caught up since 9/11. There is a war going on between the Fundamentalists and the Liberal Muslims. This situation is creating a drift not only between the Western world and the Muslims, but also within the Muslims. The educated and modern Muslims are in a difficult situation because of their approach towards life and their western attire. They are criticized and harassed by the fundamentalists and on the other hand the Western world sees them as potential suspects of terrorism just because of their Muslim names.

A história relata a difícil situação em que os paquistaneses muçulmanos passaram a viver após o 11 de Setembro. Existe uma guerra em curso entre os fundamentalistas e os muçulmanos liberais. Os muçulmanos modernos estão numa situação difícil devido à sua abordagem à vida e trajes ocidentais. São perseguidos pelos fundamentalistas e, por outro lado, o mundo ocidental os vês como potenciais suspeitos de terrorismo apenas por seus nomes muçulmanos.

Мэри живет в Лондоне и влюблена в Дэйва. Отец не одобряет ее роман с человеком иной веры, хотя сам сожительствует с англичанкой. Filmen utspelas på tre olika kontinenter och vi får följa tre människors öden. Mansoor som är musikstuderande i USA, hans bror Sarmad i Pakistan och deras kusin Mary som växt upp i England. Filmen handlar om kriget mellan fundamentalistiska och liberala muslimer.
