Discuss Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius

Someone I work with was an extra on this movie and craftily positioned himself where you can see him in a few scenes. Jim Caviezel, who also played Jesus, has a very passable Georgia accent (Jesus with a Southern accent; I love it grinning .) One of the golf course scenes is filmed at the beautiful Chateau Elan. NE of Atlanta it's mostly known for their wine groves. The real Bobby Jones is buried in historic Oakland Cemetery in which also rests Margaret Mitchell (Marsh) who wrote Gone With The Wind. http://www.oaklandcemetery.com/ Oakland's not in a great part of town but it's extremely active for a cemetery. Each year they have fund raising events in the cemetery including "Tunes from the Tombs", "Malts In The Vaults: Where Beer Meets History", "Run Like Hell 5k", and the extremely popular "Capturing the Spirit Of Oakland Halloween Tours". In this last tour talented volunteers dress up like historic figures and tell the audience about themselves standing next to the grave site of the person they're portraying. Bobby Jones' grave always has several dozen golf balls people have left as well as clubs. The grave is situated next to an outside wall. Over the wall you can see the big sign of a seafood restaurant someone cleverly named "Six Feet Under".
