Overly long, and a huge cop-out, since it's a ambiguous story about being high, it doesn't have to make sense, so guess what we have 2hr film that makes no sense!

The bug effects were decent, but the numerous subplots and character's that went nowhere were disappointing, so an hour in you realize there is really no point to pay attention, yet the movie struggles to try and follow some plot, at that point it's better to just have it as eye candy with murderous bugs, rather than an attempt at intellect.

David Cronenberg is one of my favourites but he shouldn't have tried to make a movie of this book, his own brain and ideas are good enough
