A man accepts a job in a night club to make ends meet. When the owner of the club is found murdered his jealous wife is accused of the murder. He believes her innocent however and fights to clear her name. The film is based on a real life case.

Due giovani sposi, Pupetta e Roberto, lavorano entrambi ma non guadagnano abbastanza. Roberto quindi accetta un secondo lavoro come amministratore di un locale notturno la cui padrona viene assassinata da Peter, un ex socio. La colpa però ricade su Pupetta. Roberto riesce a farla liberare e i due tornano ad essere felici.
